India [IMPORTANT] Affiliate Policy change: Paid Search Ads through Google

Flipkart.com - Affiliate Program EARNLINK Dear Affiliate Partner, We have introduced an important policy change to Flipkart Affiliate Program regarding partners promoting Flipkart affiliate ads / links through Google AdWords campaigns. For Paid Search Ads through Google AdWords campaigns, affiliate partners cannot send users directly to the Flipkart website/ mobile site through keyword bidding or other paid search activities on Google. However, if your Paid Search Ads send users to your own website and then your website displays affiliate links to Flipkart website / mobile site, you may earn referral fees for eligible purchases made by users who click through your Paid Search Ads to your website and then click through to the Flipkart website / mobile site. Basically, the traffic coming from your affiliate links should not have google.com / google.co.in domain in the referral links. Please do not include www.flipkart.com domain in the Display URL and Landing Page URL fields of Paid Search (Google AdWords) ads. We have modified our Terms & Conditions (https://affiliate.flipkart.com/terms-and-conditions) to include that affiliate partners cannot use Flipkart domain name (www.flipkart.com) as Display URL or Destination URL in the ad copies of Google AdWords campaigns (since it conflicts/ competes with our internal Paid Search campaigns through Google AdWords). Any affiliate partner found / identified by us (we have systems in place to identify) directing users / traffic to flipkart.com domain directly through Paid Search Ads will be penalised. You have 10 days to comly with this policy change and do the necessary alterations to the ad copies (Display and Destination URLs) of your Google AdWords campaigns. Please adhere to this important policy change strictly from 16th June, 2016 onwards. Any affiliate partner found violating this condition will be liable to strict actions from our side. Non-compliance would not only lead to suspension of your affiliate account, but also cancellation of all pending commissions and commissions thereafter.
